Dog Training Makes Dogs Happy
We believe that every dog, owner, and household is unique. Our training goes well beyond basic obedience, and embraces what dogs and owners specifically need to live together more happily.

Taurus is much more than a “doggie treadmill.” While most people choose daycare for their dog for exercise, attention, and stimulation, we provide much more. Our pack is comprised of dedicated dog trainers, who will attend to every moment of your dog’s day in a way that ensures safety and fun, and also promotes polite behavior with dogs and people. We regularly exceed industry standards in many ways, including our cleaning & ventilation procedures, and health and behavior knowledge.

Tanya considers Taurus her second family; when she’s here she doesn’t feel like she’s at work. Tanya has been with Taurus since 2003.
Accounting & HR
Ann grew up in El Paso, TX and moved to Austin to study at UT. She graduated with a BA in Sociology and Government, so it was only natural that she ended up at Taurus. That could be sarcastic, but it’s not. She finds human behavior and interactions interesting, and for many of us, that includes how we behave with our dogs. Ann has two dogs herself: a sassy Black Lab mix named Eve and a spunky Hound mix named Justice. They love going hiking around town, canoeing on Lady Bird Lake, and camping across the nation.
Andrew finds himself back home in Austin after being away for 8 years. Andrew studied Exercise physiology at Baylor University and Music at Dallas Baptist University. His love for man's-best-friend led him to Taurus from the fitness industry. When not at Taurus, Andrew can be found playing blues guitar, cycling around town, reading a good book or in the company of his best bud Bear, a Black Lab mix, and Layla, a spirited and rambunctious Miniature Pinscher.
Mackenzie feels that Taurus is the “perfect combination” because she loves talking with people, playing/taking care of dogs, and is a fellow Taurus on the zodiac. Along with her dogs Silly and River, Mackenzie enjoys Austin because it’s dog friendly, laid back, and has so many festivals, night life, and free concerts in the park. When not at Taurus, Mackenzie likes barbequing, reading, crafts, hiking, and hanging out with friends.
Austin leads a thrilling, action-packed life—she mostly enjoys watching YouTube videos of people filling in their weekly planners—no, really. Ever since she moved from Georgetown with her two cats, Austin has been checking out the city life more by hiking or binge-watching Netflix!
Anna may not have been born in Austin, but her tastes are pitch perfect for this town: checking out live music, hiking, swimming, and watching movies at the Alamo Drafthouse are just a few of her main interests! She loves music, so make sure to strike up a conversation about your favorite band sometime!
